POMk Project is proud to collaborate with the National University of Mataram in Lombok Island, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia, to develop and implement POMk Project Indonesia.
Location
Lombok Island is situated east of Bali in the Indonesian archipelago.
Program Overview
POMk Project Indonesia focuses on delivering interactive education to elementary school students in Lombok, covering:
- Understanding Human Body Systems
- Disease Mechanisms and Prevention
- Practical Hygiene Education
In partnership with local experts, we provide specialized education on practical matters such as:
- Food Safety
- Water Sanitation
- Local Health Practices
Why This Matters
People in developing nations often face significant health risks due to:
- Limited access to healthcare infrastructure
- Economic constraints
- Environmental challenges
By teaching children about human body systems and disease mechanisms from an early age, we can help reduce these health risks through prevention and informed decision-making.
Sustainable Impact
Our educational approach offers several advantages over traditional medical aid:
- Cost-effective implementation
- Sustainable long-term impact
- Community-driven continuation
- Local capacity building
